Maybe you’ve been thinking it’s time to take it up a notch from Tiktoks and Facebook Lives. If so, welcome to Spiral Moon Media Group’s Spiral Moon TV Network.

Since 2022, Spiral Moon TV has been online, working with many ways to get video on demand, live streaming, and apps on the web and on streaming sites. In the last 3 years, we’ve done all the research, and learned how to make it all work so you don’t have to (unless you want to).. We currently have 3 Roku channels (Spiral Moon TV, Spiral Moon TV 2, and Pagan Parenting TV), with plans to add a couple of more (like a Sabbat channel, and potentially a news channel with broadcasts about many Pagan communities), and we’re working towards Apple and Amazon apps as well. 

We know the Pagan media scene can be complicated. Content creators are spread out everywhere, and Spiral Moon isn’t the only TV station out there. But what we do differently is to be accessible and accountable, and to start from the foundation that we value families, so our programming must, by and large, also value families and community. Spiral Moon Family Circle, our parent, is a 501(c)3, and as such, we pride ourselves in making sure that our community knows what the plan is, each step of the way. We focus on real content made by our community, and we focus on building community through many of our projects – from children’ s programming, to education, to our thrift store, Hestia’s Hearth and Home Thrift. We strive to be welcoming, but to protect our community at the same time. 

We want to build a network of media outlets that encourages the community and that values working together to make all of us better off. We have TV, radio, podcasts, and publishing, and lots of ways to cross-promote our network members. Working as a network gives us more reach, and makes us a better option for advertisers.

TV Options:

1. Join the Spiral Moon TV network by adding your programming to our sites and channels. 

You get 40% of ad revenue from your shows on Roku and free advertising on all of our networks

2. Join the Spiral Moon TV network as a branded VOD channel (Your Channel TV on Roku and noted on our sites as part of our network).

You get 50% of ad revenue from your channel and 30% on any videos used on other channels

3. Add a linear channel (Your Channel TV on Roku and on our sites with a linear feed added to your VOD options) – add this to your branded VOD channel, or add it to one of ours.

$35/month if you’re in our network, and we’ll split ad revenue 50/50.

4. Add a website for your network channel.. A site specifically for your channel, with your branding, and your shows and linear channel(s) embedded.

$250 to set up, plus hosting and domain name (we can provide hosting for $50/year plus domain name.) We will teach you how to do the maintenance if you want, or we can do maintenence and add new videos for $20/month.

5. Streaming capabilities. Add this to any linear channel, and stream directly from our servers, from any location, directly into your linear channel. (without this, you can use other methods to stream to your linear channel, but it’s on your own to set it up)

$10/month.

6. We are happy to consult on setting up your own channels, apps, and sites, outside of Spiral Moon TV Network – we believe that there’s room for all of us to grow in the media space.

Consulting starts at $100 for an initial 60 minute consult. Setup of your own channel starts at $500, including website, hosting, channel setup, and Roku app submission. Hosting fees for your own channels (which may or may not be paid to us depending on your choices) are estimated at $50-$300/month, depending on options and features. Maintenance by us starts at $100/month, or we’ll teach you to do it yourself. 

Spiral Moon TV Network Member Requirements: 

• In all cases, you provide videos, thumb nails, and ads for your programs and channels.
• If available, you provide trickplay and captions, although we can provide them if need be.
• In all cases, you are responsible for promoting your channels and programs. We advertise our network and our channels, both on our sites and on social media as well, but part of gaining more watches, and thus more ad revenue, is that everyone in the network promotes the network..
• For all branded channels, at least 10 videos must be provided up front.
• For all linear channels in our network, we will schedule programming, and can set up live streaming space in the schedule based on your requests. On the main linear channels, we will work with members to create schedules that benefit as many of us as possible.
